We are hiring at many of our manufacturing facilitiesthis is a great opportunity for those who are now available due to hours being cut at their regular job or being sent home from college temporarily.
Duties:
Inspect/Check the quality of eggs.
Removes broken eggs.
Places proper labels on boxesUnderstands dates, expiration and item numbers.
Ensures that bags and pails are properly sealed and clean.
Stacks flats of CHEX product onto the proper pallet.
Supply material to Top Lidder machineLoad material into case erectorHelps keep production area clean.
Run inedible product through centrifuge and throw waste in dumpsters.
Ensures that bags and pails are properly sealed and clean.
Keep production area clean and free from water and buildup.
Loads stacks of dirty flats onto the track at the end of the flat washing machine.
Monitor automatic mechanical loading of individual flats into flat washer ensuring the machine does not jam.
Oversee entire procedure for flat washer enduring there are no jams from the time a flat enters the washing area until it exits and stacks at the other end of the machine.
Remove stacks of clean dry flats from a conveyor to a nearby skid.
Complete paperwork required of the position.
Check product quality (dirty, broken, etc.
)Keep machines running efficientlyMake sure material is kept separated, neat and stored properly and labeled.
To follow all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelinesPerform repetitive motion with hands while disassembling/assembling pallets and loading materials onto conveyor.
Watch, correct and report safety issues.
Communicate issues to production management and maintenance.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained.
Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:
Less than high school education.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPEREINCE AND SKILLS:
Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a company pallet jack license.
Experience with pallet jack preferred.
Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
Capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
Demonstrates the ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships and work effectively with others to complete work assignments.
Able to safely lift and carry 50lbs.
Able to work independently or with others in a team environment depending upon the assignment.
Self-motivated while also willing to ask questions and seek direction.
Displays responsible behavior at work.
Open to change.
Ability to work in cold, wet, noisy, dusty and humid environments.
Ability to work around required cleaning solutions.
Possesses good hand-eye coordination.
Able to stand on hard surface most of the shift, ascend and descend stairs, bend, stoop or crouch, grasp and reach.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
