Responsibilities:
Maintains and creates Safety programs
Encourages, motivates, and supervises Managers, Supervisors, and employees to maximize productivity
Monitors and sets standards for operations, finds solutions to problems, and designs ways to increase productivity
Plans and supervises the design and progress of capital projects
Prepares reports on expenses and production
Prepares budgets and monitors expenses
Reviews and verifies purchase orders
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to Senior management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers/vendors, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Bilingual preferred, but not required
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, fractions, ratios. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Available to work on different shifts as well as on weekends
