Accounting Manager/Controller The Accounting Manager/Controller is responsible for handling the company financial records and reporting for.
This position reports to the CEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES for Accounting Manager/Controller:
Compile Monthly & Annual Financial statements in a timely manner - and review them with outside CPAManages company's financial records, assists with budget preparations, and forecasting.
Manages all financial transactions.
Manages accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconcile bank statements; update the trial balance; manage the profit-loss statement, balance sheets and completes physical check run.
Manages federal state tax deposits; file state taxes and completes annual tax forms.
Process payroll (done through HRIS - Paylocity).
Manages Commission paymentsManages 401k program - completes all forms and filingsFile Worker's Compensation with required statesOversee the operations of the accounting department (2-3 employees), supports the team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivityQUALIFICATIONS for Accounting Manager/Controller:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

years of Cost accounting experience in ManufacturingPrior supervisory experience preferredMicrosoft Dynamics accounting experience is highly preferredAttitude:
Strong desire to succeed as part of a team; interest in contributing to a positive company culture; willingness to persist until the job is done right for the customer and embrace the company philosophy.
Communication and Negotiation:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal form; skilled at persuading various parties with disparate viewpoints to reach agreementComputer skills - ERP experience, Microsoft 365Judgment and Decision Making -- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
