Location Description:
Our plant, located in Lansing, IL, pasteurizes raw eggs to remove harmful bacteria for a more safe product to the foodservice industry.
Responsibilities:
We are offering a Sign On Bonus This position performs electrical, instrumentation, & controls, process, and packaging maintenance throughout the facility.
The Industrial Maintenance Electricians responsibilities include, but are not limited to, equipment breakdowns, installation and startups, process improvements, preventative maintenance and continuous improvements activities (i.
e.
increasing machine reliability) and installation of facility capital investments.
Candidate will perform specified electrical work to code regulations.
Candidates must be a self-starter willing to accept maintenance process responsibility and KPI results.
Ability to respond in an efficient and effective manner to urgent production needs related to equipment.
Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial IE&C work throughout the facility Utilize and lead CMMS usage to support the maintenance function including review, execution, and documentation of scheduled/unscheduled work daily.
Ability to pull and use reports for management decisions.
Understands NEC code and demonstrates accordingly.
Proficient knowledge of conduit installation and wiring layout, along with ability to repair existing electrical systems to code specifications.
Ability to build and/or modify a control panel to a professional level.
Proficient understanding of mechanical and/or electrical schematics and blueprints including equipment specific electronics diagrams.
Proficient knowledge and ability in installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various electrical components and systems including medium voltage automation systems and motor control circuits.
Proficient knowledge of power distribution, MMCs, control panels and switches/fuses.
Includes low voltage DC circuits Proficient knowledge related to hardware issues with PLCs (programmable logic controllers), automation equipment, and HMI touchscreens.
Proficient knowledge and ability to get on-line with a PLC and/or HMI to review logic and troubleshoot issues.
Proficient ability to tune loop controllers for performance improvement.
Proficient ability to troubleshoot, replace, and program VFDs and HIM modules.

Qualifications:
Required:
5
years experience in industrial operations, plant operations, maintenance, utilities and/or related field.
Prefered:
Prior training and education in OSHA 40 Hour, HAZMAT awareness, Arc Flash, LOTO, electrical systems and fall protection Certified level training in NEC code Certified training in instrumentation and controls Prior food manufacturing experience Recommended Skills Automation Blueprinting Electric Arc Electric Power Distribution Electronics Foods Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
